Sultana raisins are Light to dark brown in color. They are dried in special drying plants and Due to their very high sugar content, sultanas are very sweet and similar in flavor to honey. This type of raisin is made from first-grade seedless grapes and especially seedless raisin grapes.

Sultana raisins are made from seedless yellow and green grapes, especially Thompson. Unlike other raisins, Sultana raisins are soaked in solution before drying to dry faster, so they are lighter in color than sun-dried raisins and Mavis raisins. Sultana raisins are smaller than Mavis raisins and are sweeter, juicier and brighter than the sun-dried raisins.
